KN. YAU
Founder & Director of Global Partnerships and Development
YAU previously served as a Professional Consultant for UN, Geneva. She has also been selected as a member of China’s National Talent Reserve Pool for International Organizations.
She brings together academic research, international public policy and educational practice. With academic training spanning Peking University, the Geneva Graduate Institute and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she pursued doctoral research in Governance and Policy Science, her work has consistently focused on how policy and global systems shape opportunities for the next generation.
Her professional and research experience across international organisations and policy institutions has given her a distinctive understanding of how academic knowledge connects with real-world decision-making.
At Summit Global, she translates this perspective into education: developing long-term academic and personal development pathways, building international and institutional partnerships, and creating opportunities for students to engage meaningfully with global affairs, research and public-purpose initiatives.
“What we owe the next generation is not a script for success, but the tools to write their own. Young people should be prepared not only to enter the world as it is, but to understand it, question it, and eventually shape it, with rigour in thought, clarity in expression, breadth of perspective, and the moral seriousness to ask what their talents are for.”
